Makindye West Women groups ask Lord Councillor Sabuka Doreen to seek a second term . Whisper Eye Reports

Youthful groups of Women in Makindye West have appealed to Sabuka Doreen requesting her to consider standing again as their Women Lord Councillor come 2021 elections.

In their weekly meetings Buligwanga Women’s group of Katwe , Katabira Women’s group led by Nakayinja among others say Lord Councillor Sabuka has performed to their satisfaction as Women they are proud of her and ready to vote her come 2021.

She has seen roads like Juuko – Kevina – Apas – Nsambya constructed, advocated for Lukuli road construction, supported the reallocation of funds for the construction of Kirombe – National medical Stores road among other visbleable things. says Florence.

According to Florence , Ms Sabuka has been able to give free legal services to Women groups with starting up various legal associations in the area some thing which has protected their projects ideas.

Doreen was very instrumental when Covid-19 lockdown was announced , she donated various water tanks to markets in Makindye West among other items . Florence added.

The FDC iron Lady appreciated what various Makindye West people see in her leadership and assured them that she will stand again as their Women Lord councillor come 2021 scientific elections.

She said as the Lord councillor a lot as been achieved for the Women groups throughout Makindye West .

Sabuka Doreen is a professional lawyer working with Tumwebaze Atugonza Kobusingye & Co. Advocates in Kampala .

She recently contested for Deputy Speaker KCCA and lost to NRM Bruhan of Nakawa .

The Lord Councillor representing Makindye West has  served as Chairperson Hr/ Administration and currently she is the chairperson revenue standing committee at KCCA.

Uganda is set for a general election which will have no open traditional campaign due to Covid-19 pandemic scare.

Ugandans have termed it scientific elections .
