People Power Elections Management Commission extends one week of receiving Expression of Interest forms . Whisper Eye Reports

People Power, Our Power political platform has extended one week for picking and receiving of Expression Of Interest (EOI) forms.

Our reliable source intimate to Whisper Eye News from Kamwokya at People Power, Our Power Movement headquarters, the Election Management Committee has given candidates willing to belong to the movement seven days to organise them selves.

The Commission chairperson Ms Mercy Walukamba told us that they are overwhelmed by the number picking up forms from their office at Kamwokya.

“Many aspiring candidates have not yet picked these forms, and in some regions like Tooro sub region only a few candidates have received these forms,’ says the source.

In greater Masaka where a delegation of the Election Management Commission is receiving returns from ten districts including the new city there are some districts that have not yet picked and returned EOI forms.

The commission is to address a press conference from Masaka City today at 10:00am.
