Road to 2021: Luweero Woman MP Eng Nakate NRM tick hangs in balance . Whisper Eye Reports

National Resistance Movement (NRM) party primaries takes a new twist as Kampala Business Woman Cissy Mulondo pose to defeat Eng Lillian Ssegujja Nakate for the Party ticket.

Just a couple of weeks ago Ms Mulondo was approached by a group of people from Luwero and requested her to accept to contest on the post of district Woman representative to Uganda’s Parliament.

The team was comprised of religious leaders and prominent people who suggested Ms Cissy Mulondo’s name on argument that Luwero district needs an extra ordinary leader.

Basing on its historical background especially the effects of the 1980-1986 bush war that affected its development.

Whisper Eye is reliably informed that many religious leaders are backing Ms Mulondo’s candidature with optimistic to develop the area.

NRM strategist have tipped the businesswoman for the legislative role in the district.

Ms Mulondo has constructed a number of bore holes in Luweero district, as part of her long term vision to create a fundamental change.

She is facing a serious competition from the incumbent MP Eng Nakate.

However the entry of former woman MP Hon Rebecca Nalwanga, has been a blessing to Ms Mulondo.

Many supporters of incumbent MP Eng Nakate are crossing to join Hon Nalwanga’s camp.

Other candidates in the race for NRM flag are; Councillor Zena Nasur who is the secretary for Education on the district executive committee, and Councillor Joy Namulindwa the Chairperson production committee.

However the political waves are blowing the entire district, and political dynamics can change the game.
