People Power, Our Power Movement leader Kyagulanyi Robert Ssentamu who is also the Member of Parliament for Kyadondo East has pulled big crowds in the newly created Jinja City.
Pop music star who turned a politician popularly known by his stage name Bobi Wine appeared on 89.4 NBS FM radio in Jinja today morning.
The whole of the NBS radio media house building was surrounded by people which forced the police backed by the army to surround the area.
Immediately after the talk show Mr Wine was ordered to walk directly to his vehicle accompanied by police officers to move out of Jinja city.
Police Patrol vehicles escorted Hon Kyagulanyi from Jinja City up to his offices in Kamwokya, Kampala.
By the time our News Reporter left Hon Kyagulanyi offices at around 4:30PM the place was heavily deployed by police and other security operatives.
A source informed us that police had ordered Mr Wine to leave Kamwokya and go to his home in Magere.
All the way from Jinja the youthful presidential candidate in the forthcoming elections Kyagulanyi Robert Ssentamu pulled crowds in various towns.
In Njeru, Lugazi, Mukono, Mbalala, Bweyogerere, people have been chanting “We love Bobi Wine, we want our president” others singing his songs, ‘Tuliyambale Engule’ and ‘Kyalenga’.
This is now the third media talk show since the Electoral Commission (EC) declared a revised road map of 2020/21 general elections that proposed a ‘scientific polls’.
All the three programs from the controversial CBS radio talk show on Saturday ‘Palamenti Yaffe’, then on Sapientia radio, and now NBS radio, MP Kyagulanyi attracts crowds of people despite the preventive measures of Covid-19.
While appearing on these talk shows Hon Kyagulanyi has opposed the ‘Scientific elections’ which he claims that it is against democracy and the 1995 Constitution of the Republic of Uganda.
