Hypocritical Rev Bakaluba Mukasa who quit NRM for DP eyes Mukono LC5 seat. Whisper Eye Reports.

Mukono Democratic Party (DP) leaders are confused as their new baby boy Rev Bakaluba Mukasa who quited National Resistance Movement (NRM) and joined DP eyes LC. V seat but printing yellow Posters .

DP colors are known green and white, these days the party has neutralised Red which was adopted during the Amendment of the 1995 Constitution of Uganda, article 102 (b) which gave green light to president Museveni’s life rule.

At first they saw few posters in yellow color, but they did not care, however, currently his posters are in yellow color every where.

Rev. Peter Bakaluba Mukasa will contest for Mukono district chairmanship in the forthcomingcoming general elections on Democratic Party ticket (DP) backed by People Power Movement after he left NRM officially.

Rev Bakaluba is a businessman in Mukono district and surrounding districts.

He has a chain of schools both primary and secondary which are softly changing the education sector of the district.

He is a former member of parliament for Mukono North constituency for one-and-half terms and lost it to Hon. Betty Nambooze Bakireke in a by-election.

In 2011 general elections Rev Bakaluba decided to contest in Mukono south where he served one term, before losing it to Hon Johnson Muyanja Ssenyonga in 2016 general elections.

For the past elections since the restoration of Political parties in 2005 in Uganda, Rev Bakaluba was contesting on National Resistance Movement (NRM) Party ticket.

But currently he decided to join the opposition and particularly the Democratic Party (DP) and he was officially given the party card as a member by DP president Norbert Mao last year.

Mr Bakaluba Mukasa is a reverend and also a veteran journalist who worked on Radio Uganda by then and Radio Simba FM and afterwards he decided to join active politics up to now.

Reliable sources in Mukono intimate to Whisper Eye, said that DP party members have started distancing them selves from Rev Bakaluba Mukasa’s camp until he takes a strong stand on party colours or known opposition colours.

However one of reporters heard Bakaluba react that whoever is printing his photos with yellow colours is intended to portray him as a bad character.
