Museveni frustrates local businesses because an empowered citizenry is a threat to him politically -Obedgiu Samuel

One of the biggest betrayals Gen Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has occasioned on Ugandans, is the deliberate collapse of the Local Businesses. This is a man who assumed power as President of Uganda through blood and iron in 1986 and to build an integrated and self sustaining Economy that is independent.

Why are construction contracts now given to Chinese and other foreigners without any Ugandan’s?
These Chinese just before the Lockdown repatriated a total of over 100 billions shillings.

Before and after Gen. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni had just assumed power early in 1986, we had Local Road Construction companies like Zzimwe and Mukalazi amongst others, but all these were deliberately collapsed through excessive taxation and sabotage.

As a result, 30 years from the road, we have literally no local company winning construction contracts. We must note that no country has ever transformed it’s Economy by collapsing it’s indigenous businesses and relying on foreigners.

Everytime there is a parliamentary plenary, there is a request to parliament to approve certain loans General Yoweri Kaguta Museveni wants to borrow for construction or mega project and with the nature of our parliament constituted with majority money minded legislators, his plans have always worked, because he has mastered the art of exciting the Members of Paliament.

The next big commodity is on Earth will be Water . In 20 years, the world will face severe fresh water scarcity. The Chinese Government is organizing special funds to buy exclusive rights to fresh water from Lakes and glaciers world over. Anyways, is Lake Victoria still owned by Uganda? Why are they chasing away indigenous Ugandans from the lake shores?. Were they mortgaged to the Chinese in Museveni’s borrowing spree for political projects?.

It should be noted that, 71% of our planet’s surface is covered with water, 366 billion gallons of it. However 96.6% of that water is undrinkable because it’s saturated with salt. Most of the Earth’s fresh water is locked away in glaciers or deep underground, less than 1% is available it us.
