Democratic Party (DP) former vice president for Eastern region, also Bukedi sub region People Power Movement Yusuf Mutembuli has officially joined the ruling NRM Party.
Mr Mutembuli has been received by Capt Mike Mukula today Tuesday June, 23 and has promised to serve his new party, National Resistance Movement (NRM).
Mr Mutembuli has been mobilising Bukedi sub region for MP Kyagulanyi Robert Ssentamu also known as Bobi Wine.
The NRM new born, Mr Mutembuli has been an opposition leader in the whole of Eastern region, and he has groomed a number of opposition youthful leaders in the region.
In 2016 high court in Mbale upheld the election of Moses Nagwomu Musamba as the Bunyole East county Member of Parliament in Butaleja district.
Justice Andrew Bashaija delivered judgment in his ruling on an election petition filed by Yusuf Mutembuli, a former contestant for the Bunyole East MP seat.
Mr Mutembuli has contested for Bunyole East parliamentary seat for two times loosing to Hon Emmanuel Dombo and now MP Moses Nagwomu.
