Covid-19: Uganda cases increase to 755 at 14 test positive

Ministry of Health on Thursday announced 14 new COVID-19 cases, bringing its total number of confirmed cases to 755 . Whisper Eye Reports

All the new cases are truck drivers and alerts and contacts of the same. a statement reads from the ministry.

The condition of all the new cases was stable.

Whisper Eye has learnt that 5 new cases are Truck drivers who arrived via Busia ,Miram Hills and Bunagana , as 9 cases are contacts and alerts from Kampla, Kyotera and Nebbi

The country health ministry, in its daily update this morning of Friday.

All contact positive cases are under Quarantine, the ministry confirmed.

Uganda now has 755 covid-19 cases since march.

Uganda also handed over 27 positive foreign truck drivers to their respective countries .

Uganda has now registered 492 recoveries according to the ministry of health with no reports of death.

Malaba, Busia and Mutukula border points turn out to be the most risky areas as far as Covid-19 is concerned.
