How to defeat Museveni, opposition must unite , says Dr Aggrey Kiyingi

While addressing the nation on radio munansi (www.radiomunansi.com), Dr Kiyingi called for unity as a prerequisite to defeat Mr Museveni.

He advised opposition that the various groups and political platforms in opposition is a blessing in the struggle to have a peaceful change of government.

‘Never underestimate anybody, that person you underestimate may be very crucial in the struggle to defeat Mr Museveni,’ says Dr Kiyingi.

“We must have a proper plan on how we are going to operate. Yes there is an election in 2021, how are we planed for the elections and even after elections. We must be organised, he added.”

Dr Kiyingi who is also the chairman of Uganda Federal Democratic Organisation applauded former Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) president Dr Kiiza Besigye for a recommendable contribution towards the struggle to liberate Uganda from president Museveni.

In the some spirit he also appreciated the youthful generation of People Power Movement for the increased pressure amounted to president Museveni.

‘Let us build on what Dr Besigye has done, he has done a great work. Also our youthful members of People Power Movement, I recommend their increased pressure to Mr Museveni and his government through propaganda,’ said Dr Kiyingi.

Dr.Kiyingi Aggrey is a Consultant Cardiologist based in Australia.

He is a son to Azalia Ssebowa, a peasant in Busukuma, Namulonge in Wakiso district.

The father, who was shot dead in the mid 1980s.

Dr. Kiyingi graduated from Makerere University, Uganda in 1977 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery.

Since then, he has worked, travelled and studied widely around the world.

He speaks Luganda, Swahili and English.

Completed his specialist cardiology training in Sydney, Australia at Westmead and Concord Hospitals.

He has been a consultant cardiologist since 1989.

He is also a consultant physician with extensive experience in tropical medicine.

He specializes in general adult cardiology and echocardiography and his clinical interests include preventative cardiology, echocardiography, hypertension, and general medicine.

With the above simple curriculum Vitae, Dr Kiyingi ranks one of the most successful professionals in Uganda.
