FDC lawyer Yusuf Nsibambi donates to Mawookota residents 10 tonnes of maize flour. Whisper Eye Reports.

Kampala debonair lawyer professor Yusuf Nsibambi has donated about 10 tonnes of maize flour to Mpigi district Covid-19 task force.

Counsel Nsibambi handed over the truck of maize flour to the chairperson of the task force Ms Rosemary Byabasaija on Thursday 11th – 06-2020 at Mpigi district headquarters.

Professor Nsibambi has told Whisper Eye that at first he thought that the government was to give food to the needy people.

As the situation has worsened, he has decided to give a helping hand to those people who are unable to have enough food.

“Our people are greatly, affected by the preventive measures put forward to control the spread of Covid-19, we have decided to contribute maize flour to needy people,’ says Counsel Nsibambi.

“We have no powers to distribute the maize flour among our communities,
the district task force shall distribute as per the presidential directives, he added.”

Counsel Nsibambi was born on April 4, 1965 to Hajji Ausi and Hajjat Jalia Kalega in a village called Kalagala, Nkozi sub county, Mpigi district.
