Luuka county south member of parliament hopeful and top lawyer Julius Paul Muliko has joined numbers of Ugandans to eulogize the deceased senior UPDF officer Maj Gen Kasirye Ggwanga. Whisper Eye Reports.
In a press statement Lawyer Julius Muliko said the People of Luuka county south have lost a hero in Gen Kasirye Ggwanga who he described as a hero who died on heroes day .
I convey my sincere and heartfelt condolences to the family, relatives, friends, President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, the UPDF, Buganda Kingdom and all the people of Uganda for the loss of Maj. Gen. Wasswa Kasirye Gwanga , said Julius Muliko .
I believe it is not a coincidence that the General died on heros’ day! He is indeed a hero and he will remain in the hearts of all Ugandans, he added.
We shall remember him for his fight for the protection of the environment, freedom of all Ugandans, and his openness on all matters affecting himself, his family and Uganda. He also noted.
Late in April Gen Kasirye Gwanga said he was arrested and detained in Mbuya over what he described as refusing military guards however the UPDF said Ggwanga had been admitted at senior officers Diagnostic Center in Mbuya for treatment.
He will be buried by a few people in relation to Covid-19 guidelines .
