Dr Besigye loyal supporter Nyanjula Doreen roasts Stella Nyanzi over controversial ministerial post. Whisper Eye Reports.
Deputy minister of Tourism and wildlife in People’s government who doubles as Kampala Capital City Authority Secretary for finance and trade Nyanjula Doreen has grilled former Makerere University lecturer Dr Stella Nyanzi over the controversial ministerial post.
Last week Dr Nyanzi proposed that Dr Kiiza Besigye can be a premier minister in Hon Kyagulanyi’s government as president.
The statement was not taken gingerly by People’s government led by Dr Besigye.
Makerere lord Councillor to KCCA, hon Nyanjula laughed at Dr Nyanzi.
“Some Ugandans joke too much, now Dr Kiiza Besigye has been proposed to be a Prime Minister in Bobi’s government.
Any way the Besigye that I know has never been driven by positions, he would even be proud to serve with no position like he is currently at the fore front of the struggle but as an ordinary secretary for mobilisation from Rukungiri District, says hon Nyanjula.”
‘This struggle is not about positions, it’s a struggle to reclaim our country from the military junta, she adds.’
Since 2018, Dr Besigye and People Power supreme leader, also Kyadondo East legislator Kyagulanyi Robert Ssentamu also known as Bobi Wine have engaged in peace talks over a joint opposition presidential candidate in 2021, however nothing has yielded yet from these meetings.
Supporters for both leaders have continued to exchange words in an intense cold war.
