Museveni’s state of the nation address has failed to address challenges of the 21st Century, says president hopeful Mugerwa. Whisper Eye Reports.

Uganda Green New Deal presidential candidate 2021 Mugerwa Timothy stings president Museveni over the State of The Nation Address.

Mr Mugerwa said that the president tried to fiddle facts about industrialisation in the country.

He said it is not logical to exchange nature with industries, implications of destroying nature are worse compared to the gains from Chinese industries built in wetlands.

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni’s State of Nation Address has failed to address challenges of the 21st century,’ says Mr Mugerwa.

“Leaving factories that are already built in wetlands to stand costs us more than what we get as a nation. We shouldn’t put profits over nature and human life, he states.”

The environmental activist appealed to Ugandans to welcome his new ideas that suits challenges of the 21 Century of the Green New Deal.
