Covid-19: Uganda registers 15 new cases as 10 truck drivers, 5 community samples test positive

15 new cases have been reported to have tested positive for Covid-19. Whisper Eye Reports.

10 new cases are Truck Drivers taking Uganda’s total number of confirmed coronavirus cases to 165 after a revision by authorities.

The country health ministry, in its daily update this evening of Thursday confirmed these new rising numbers.

The new cases , 10 are truck drivers who arrived via Elegu borders while 5 cases are among community samples.

Covid-19 cases were revised yesterday to 145 after sending non-Ugandans to their respective countries.

Uganda has now registered 66 recoveries according to the ministry of health.

Malaba, Busia and Mutukula border points turn out to be the most risky areas as far as Covid-19 is concerned.
