Coronavirus: Uganda confirms four more coronavirus cases taking the tally to 264

Uganda has confirmed four more coronavirus cases, bringing the tally of infections in the country to 264

The country’s Ministry of Health said Wednesday morning that four t, two are trucker drivers and two contacts of previous contacts.

One is a 28 -year-old Uganda male a resident of Buikwe Distrct and is acontact to one of the previously confirmed truck driver .

Another is a 26 year old Ugandan male , a resident of Kyambogo , Kampala and is a contact to one of the previously confirmed truck drivers .

He was under quarantine at the time of confirmation and is currently admitted to China Uganda friendship Hospital Naguru.

The two Uganda truck drivers who arrived from Tanzania via Mutukula . Both of them are currently admitted at Masaka Regional Referral hospital.

“All patients are currently under treatment in stable condition, isolated from other patients. The tracing of all contacts has been conducted for further management,” the Ministry said in a statement.

Uganda has registered 65 covid-19 recoveries with no registered death recorded .
