Covid-19: Uganda cases rise to 260 as 12 Truck Drivers test positive

12 more people have been reported to have tested positive for Covid-19. Whisper Eye Reports.

12 Truck Drivers takes Uganda’s total number of confirmed cases to 260, since the first case was reported in March. Sad take care Ugandans.

The country Health ministry, in its daily update confirmed these rising numbers.

31 truckers from neighboring countries also tested positive but we’re sent back to respective countries.

The new cases of Ugandans only arrived via Mutukula, Busia and Elegu borders.

Uganda has now had 63 recoveries according to the ministry of heath, no death thank God.

Malaba, Busia and Mutukula border points turns out to be the most risky areas as far as Covid-19 is concerned.

President Museveni in his earlier address called upon Ugandans to be very vigilant in the fight aganist Coronavirus.
