Covid-19: Uganda cases rise to 160 as 21 Truck Drivers test positive of the deadly pandemic

Twenty one more people have tested positive for Covid-19, raising Uganda’s total number of confirmed cases to 160, since the first one was reported in March.

The Health ministry, in its daily update on Thursday in a tweet, The new cases include: Ugandans, Kenyans, Tanzanians and South Sudanese who arrived via Mutukula, Busia and Elegu borders

Covid-19 rise to 160 as all 303 community samples have tested negative for COVID-19 in total samples of those tested was 1896 .

Uganda has now had 63 recoveries according to the ministry of heath.

Malaba, Busia and Mutukula border points turns out to be the most risky areas as far as Covid-19 is concerned.

According to authorities tracking them has commenced and the public will be informed accordingly tomorrow.
