Gen Tumukunde UPDF guards withdrawn, why???

Uganda Peoples Defense Forces (UPDF) top command has withdrawn all security guards of former Security Minister Lt. Gen. Henry Tumukunde at his homes.

Reliable source has told Whisper Eye that all security guards have been withdrawn from his Kololo, Bujuuko and Rukungiri homes.

Close sources to the retired army general confirmed the development to Whisper Eye out that an order to withdraw guards was given last week when the Gen. Tumukunde was up-country.

Where he had gone for late Major Benone Biraaro.

‘It is true all the guards have been recalled by UPDF top command’, says the source.

“We received the order while returning from upcountry, that all guards escort the general to his Kololo home, then leave immediately”, the source explains.

However, Whisper Eye has reliable information that Gen Tumukunde plans presidential ambition and ready to run against the incumbent Yoweri Museveni of the National Resistance Movement (NRM) party in 2021.
