Gen Muntu woos University students to join ANT

Alliance for National Transformation (ANT) leader Gen Gregory Mugisha Muntu praises University students for joining the struggle to defeat Mr Museveni.

Gen Muntu acknowledged the role of young people in the struggle to liberate the country.

ANT leaders led by Gen Muntu interacted with University Chapter leaders from various universities across the country.

‘This country is one of the youngest in the world demographically. Our young people form the majority of the population,’ says Gen Muntu.

“If our desire is to transform this country, we must start thinking and acting in ways that enable that. Nothing happens by accident.” he said.

Muntu told Whisper Eye that his Party has programmed youth activities.

‘We believe youth must be central to our planning, our leadership and our actions. We cannot ask young people to trust us if we cannot entrust them with responsibilities,’ Mr Muntu states.

“Our University chapters will be the engine of our party,” he said.
