Kankya Christopher a staunch Bobi Wine coordinator defects to NRM. Whisper Eye Reports.

People Power Movement coordinator in Kabalole district has defecated to the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM).

The political deal has been sealed off today evening witnessed by the Resident District Commissioner (RDC).

Reliable source has told Whisper Eye that Kabalole district NRM youth chairperson Mr Araali Gilbert Kayondo convinced Mr Kankya to join the ruling party.

‘I explained to my friend Kankya the benefits of NRM in the past 34 years and he listened,’ says Mr Kayondo.

‘Kankya is a friend and a good leader and dependable. People Power has lost an influential person. Congratulations to NRM for the big catch,’ he remarked.

Kankya has been welcomed by Kabarole NRM leaders in the board room of RDC’s office.

He has also promised to follow NRM party values and convince other People Power coordinators to join NRM.

He is planning to stand for a district councilor slot come 2021 elections.

Many People Power coordinators have joined the ruling Party thus causing frustrating Hon Kyagulanyi’s 2021 presidential bid.

People Power Movement leader who doubles as Kyadondo East legislator Kyagulanyi Robert Ssentamu also known as Bobi declared to contest with president Yoweri Kaguta Museveni in the forthcoming presidential elections.
