At night, 8,000/= now 15,000/= due to floods.

Part of the road.

Parents are in fear as students have just start the first term of 2020.

Primary kids can’t cross the flooded road to school.

Whisper Eye reporter has interviewed Buwama – Ssenyondo road users.

‘The road is almost turning into a lake, image riding almost half a kilometer in floods,’says Katwere James a bodaboda rider.

‘There are potholes in the road, now it is difficult to trace where they are, on a bad day you can die from here’ Mr Katwere said.

Mpigi district chairman Mr Mutuluuza Clever Peter told Whisper Eye that the road is under Uganda National Roads Authority (UNRA).

Mr Mutuluuza has asked UNRA to work on the road as the area is among key areas where they collect large revenue.

Whisper Eye efforts to get a comment from Mark Ssali the UNRA authority mouthpiece was unsuccessful.
