ANT party prepares for National delegates conference says Gen Muntu.Whisper Eye Reports.

Alliance for National Transformation (ANT) set for their first ever National Delegates conference.

Former Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) president Gen Gregory Mugisha Muntu formed ANT party after he fell out with FDC top leaders.

‘We met our coordinators of Pallisa and Butebo districts,’ says Gen Muntu.

“The first phase of our strategy (sub-regional meetings) has been very successful.” He said.

Gen Muntu told Whisper eye that after meeting branch committees they will have their first National Delegates Conference soon.

“We will be moving on to targeted constituency level meetings as we prepare for our National Delegates Conference.” Mr Mugisha said.

“Our focus as we move towards elections is in establishing grassroot presence across the country.” He added.

It is not yet clear whether the former bush war fighter and former army commander will contest with president Yoweri Kaguta Museveni in 2021.

As reports emerged that the Gen will back Bobi Wine in the coming General presidential elections.
