Nambooze backs Besigye as she roasts DP`s Mao presidency bid , Whisper Eye Reports
Mukono municipality MP Betty Nambooze Bakireke backs Col. Dr Kiiza Besigye’s 2021 presidential bid.
Democratic Party (DP) legislator appealed to Ugandans to trust Dr Besigye, claiming that he has sacrificed a lot for Uganda’s opposition and best positioned to defeat Mr Museveni.
On the contrary, MP Nambooze roasted her party president Norbert Mao over his presidential bid announcement last week while he visited Kibuli based leadership.
Hon Nambooze quoted Butambala MP Muhammad Muwanga Kivumbi words that Mao received money from President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni to contest in the forthcoming presidential elections in 2021.
The battle between opposition leading presidential aspirants; Dr Kiiza Besigye, Kyaddondo East MP Kyagulanyi Robert Ssentamu popularly known as Bobi Wine, and now DP president Norbert Mao joining the presidential race is a big test to the opposition.
Mr Museveni who has ruled Uganda for the last 34 years is aligning his forces for another five-year term in 2021.
