People Power Ssenyonyi turns eyes on Kampala Central MP seat causing rift with Fred Nyanzi

Veteran journalist and former NTV news anchor also People Power Movement spokesperson Joel Ssenyonyi to contest for Kampala Central MP seat in 2021.Whisper Eye Reports!

Ssenyonyi started meeting his campaign agents in various Ghetto suburbs; Kamwokya, Mengo-Kisenyi, Kagugube, to align the task force.

Reliable source indicates that Ssenyonyi’s interest in the Kampala Central MP seat has caused a rift between People Power Movement.

Main stream People Power Movement committee and the informal sector led by Bobi Wine’s elder brother Fred Nyanzi Ssentamu locally known as Chairman Nyanzi.

Chairman Nyanzi declared interest to via for the seat recently. And he has used his position as the head of the People Power Movement informal sector.

Mr Ssenyonyi said that they have not yet decided who to stand where.

A statement which confirms that all positions are vacant to those with interest according to People Power Movement political style.

It’s now clear that the battle between informal sector led by Chairman Nyanzi and main stream leadership that backs Mr Ssenyonyi is a challenge to the young political movement.

Kampala MP seat is currently held by outspoken NRM rebel turned independent Hon Alhaji Nsereko Muhammad
