Writer Kakwenza meets Germany President Frank Walter, gifts him his Banana Republic book

The Author of Uganda best selling book, “The Greedy Barbarian ” most known for his critic of President Museveni led government confirmed the news.

On phone with Kaweesa Hope Mulangira, Whisper Eye founder, Kakwenza confirmed meeting the German President.

” Its true today I visited Bellevue, the Federal Republic of Germany’s Statehouse and of course couldn’t miss to carry a book for him” said Kakwenza

He also confirmed that he held a sideline meeting with the president and he narrated the ordeal of his torture at the hands of Uganda security forces.

Last Year Mr Kakwenza was arrested for what was claimed verbal attacks on President Museveni first son Lt Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba.

He was tortured, jailed and eventually denied bail until his lawyers protested the actions.

He was granted bail, his passport was retained although after some days he escaped to Germany is unclear circumstances.
