UJA Elections: Four battle to lead Journalists supreme body. Whisper Eye Reports
Four journalists have shown interest to battle for Uganda Journalists Association (UJA) presidency slated on 12th Saturday 2020 despite of financial challenges to organise the elections.
Those interested include; Daily Monitor photo journalist Lubowa Abubakar, Vision group journalists Rukundo Mathias, Kasule Farouq and Kasasa Moses.
This years elections have been greatly covered by the ongoing presidential elections in Uganda.
Sources close to UJA administration told Whisper Eye that they have finalised everything needed to conduct a free and fair polls during the weekend.
“We request members to prepare for elections, crosscheck their names in the register in time to avoid complaints on the voting day,” says Mr Kiyimba UJA administrator.
Stiff competition is between Mr Lubowa Abubakar and Rukundo Mathias.
