Agnes Biira Nyamuthanaba who is believed to be the oldest Ugandan has died aged 123 years. #WhisperEyeNews
Ms. Nyamuthanaba (deceased) has been living a simple life in Kyesero village in Munkunyu sub-County, Bukonzo County East, in Kaseese district.
A relative to the deceased told Whisper Eye News that Nyamuthanaba gave birth to 10 children, six died and four are still surviving. Her last born Mr Ndungo Emmanuel is aged 54 years.
“Our aunt had a good marriage but unfortunately her husband Tsururu died in 1980 aged 70 years old,” a relative said.
The Rwenzuru Kingdom has lost an important person and eulogizes the deceased for her contribution to the Kingdom.
Ms. Nyamuthanaba during her time, was a close ally of the late Isaih Mukirania the father to the current King of Rwenzururu.
