Top Lawyer ” Denis Nyombi” advises EC to Zoom with Bobi Wine & POA. Whisper Eye Reports

Mukono based Lawyer Denis Nyombi has advised the Uganda Electoral Commission (EC) to use Zoom application with it’s candidates meetings.

The Uganda Electoral Commission a body mandated to organise elections in Uganda invited the National Unity Platform presidential candidate Hon Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu and Forum for Democratic Change Presidential candidate Hon Patrick Amuriat Oboi for a meeting this Monday 14th at EC.

Both candidates were no show at EC offices in Kampala citing many reasons but most importantly being very far away in northern Uganda on there presidential campaign trail.

Nyombi a top a lawyer took to Twiiter with a suggestion that Uganda Electoral body uses Zoom application in case need arises for them to speak officially with any candidate of their need.

So when is the “science” in a scientific election implemented ? Asked Nyombi.

Why don’t you zoom with these candidates wherever they are? Nyombi suggested.

Let’s get real. Someone drives from Kabong to Kampala for a caution Mr Nyombi added.

The EC insists that two Presidential candidates appear in person which was not possible as both candidates sent their respective teams to EC.

Uganda is undergoing scientific elections for parliamentary , presidential and local elections the first ever in the history of the country due to covid-19 pandemic.
