Terrible: A gang backed up by security operatives tear down campaign posters of People Power Rubaga South MP aspirant Lubega Mukaaku. Whisper Eye Reports

Whisper Eye has learnt that a gang of youths backed by security operatives have torn about 4,000 posters of People Power, Our Power Rubaga South MP aspirant Mr Samuel Walter Lubega Mukaaku in just two days.

As we draw close to the general elections expected early next year, Rubaga south MP race has taken a new twist after the competition has turned stiff.

Just three days ago, Mr Lubega Mukaaku rejuvenated his bid for Rubaga parliamentary seat.

Whisper Eye has been reliably informed that he showered Rubaga South constituency with over 5,000 posters.

However in just two nights, about 4,000 posters have been completed torn by yet unknown people.

Mr Bukenya Jonathan who is among the campaign team of Mr Mukaaku has told Whisper Eye news, that they are bewildered with the situation.

“We are stuck, I headed a team to pin posters of hon Mukaaku in the constituency. But they are destroyed by unknown people.

According to Ms Nannyonga Jane from Sipaya zone , a gang of youths is tearing them, but they were followed by two armed men in plain clothes.

People Power, Our Power Movement which gave birth to National Unity Platform (NUP) headed by Kyadondo East legislator Kyagulanyi Robert Ssentamu also known as Bobi Wine has a number of candidates in Rubaga south constituency including; Ms Eugenia Nassolo, Mr Mukasa Aloysius among others.
