Shocking: Mpigi Former Deputy Speaker Andrew Mwanjje Exposed as Local ‘Muganga’, Denied Executive Committee Position Over Notorious Criminal Counts”

The district local government council of Mpigi has denied it’s former deputy speaker Andrew Mwanjje an executive committee position after the newly sworn-in LC V. chairman Kawuki Peter read his name as secretary for production and works to the council.

Buwama Town Council councillor Ssempijja Joseph proposed the motion to deny Mr Mwanjje an executive committee position on two notorious counts; Becoming a public nuicense on social media platforms in the district and Being investigated about the allegations of embezzling Ugx. 25m for Mawokota South Performing Artists Emyooga Saaco.

The motion was seconded by the council, forcing Mr Kawuki Peter to read another name on the same post, thus NUP’s Mpigi Town Council councillor Musa Bukenya emerged as the secretary for production and works, backed by all councillors including those from NRM.

Some members of Mawokota South Performing Artists Emyooga Saaco Sacco have raised questions whether Mr Mwanjje qualifies to be a member of their Sacco as they have never heard of any of his songs, asking if he is an upcoming artist.

“Mr mwanjje is a teacher at a one small primary school sheltered by a blighted plaza along Nkozi University road, and whether the school has valid legal documents for it’s existence is a story for another day,” says the source.

A credible source at Mpigi district headquarters intimated to Us that Mr Mwanjje was assigned to disrupt Chairman Kawuki’s council by a cabal of technical officers to spearhead thier selfish agenda.

“Councillor Mwanjje is back by a clique of technical officers. It’s not a simple battle as you ay think, some civil servants are using Mwanjje to fight the council. Watch the space you will tell me,” the source said.

The source also revealed that Mr Mwanjje’s plan to build a camarilla to control Mpigi district local government council and LC. V. chairman Mr Kawuki Peter was uncovered by an access agent a signed to a senior technical officer working with Mpigi district.
