Shocking: Kampala -Masaka Pothole in Lwera a free permit to Death

Kampala -Masaka Pothole in Lwera a free permit to Death, Whisper Eye Reports.

Kampala-Masaka high way has turned into a death trap to road users due to neglected potholes by authorities.

These are found in Lwera from Nabyewanga, Kamuwunga to Lukaya town.

Dangerous potholes cut across the entire road from its Western side to Eastern side.

A high-Way where a speed of 80km per hour and above is recommended, currently vehicle crosses these potholes at zero speed which is very dangerous to life of all road users.

A number of accidents have occurred around this area due to these neglected potholes.

Road users told Whisper Eye that many Vehicles have been destroyed and lives lost but no one cares.

They claim that UNRA has failed to maintain Kampala -Masaka High Way which was even contracted poorly.

Mark Ssali the UNRA spokesperson was unavailable for comment despite our efforts .

Kamuwunga residents blame Chinese companies mining sand in Lwera responsible for these potholes.
