A big number of people were aboard this big boat from Kasenyi to Kisaba an island on Lake Victoria.
Leaders said the big boat was overloaded with many passengers and other luggage like timber, bags of cement, fish, foodstuffs, and pieces of iron sheets beyond its recommended capacity, which might have caused the accident.
