Bukedea Police are holding a self-styled doctor from Aloet trading center for the alleged theft of a microscope and an Ipad from Amuria district.
The suspect is Lazarus Ojilong, who was dismissed from Bukedea health center IV in December last year for alleged theft of an Itel smartphone from an intern.
Wilbroad Oile, the Officer in Charge of Aloet police post, says they received communication from the Officer in Charge of Criminal Investigations Department-CID in Amuria district asking them to arrest Ojilong for theft of a microscope and Ipad valued belonging to Tabisa Abuwo, a nurse in a private clinic in Amuria.
Bernard Emitu, the CID Officer of Ogolai police station in Amuria says Abuwo reported a case of theft against the suspect prompting them to liaise with their colleagues in Bukedea to arrest him.
The suspect is locked up at Aloet police post pending transfer to Amuria where he committed the crime.
