Mugerwa Timothy who declared last week his interest to contest with president Yoweri Kaguta Museveni is alleged to have links with Uganda Patriotic Freedom Fighters (UPFF).

A rebel group formed to fight against Mr Museveni’s government.

Days after his official announcement to contest for Presidency, Mugerwa has been named among the leaders of UPFF.

Inside security information has revealed that Mr Mugerwa together with his colleagues in USA and South Africa are planning to overthrow government using violence.

The group is said to be led by a one Kiwanuka Nsereko Lawrence a renown Museveni critique who is mobilising resources for Bobi Wine in USA.

A reliable source has further intimated that Mr Mugerwa will soon be summoned by courts of law.

Recently security linked the Luwero murders to UPFF.

In 2017 police arrested men who dropped letters at vice president’s home H.E Edward Kiwanuka Ssekandi in Masaka threatening his life.

It is alleged that those arrested are members of UPFF.

Efforts to reach Mr Mugerwa were futile as he didn’t respond to our calls.
