NUP MP defies party resolution, attends Museveni’s address to Parliament

Bukoto South MP Dr. Twaha Kagabo defied Hon Kyagulanyi Bobi Wine’s orders, going ahead to attend President Museveni’s speech to parliament yesterday at Kololo Independence grounds. #WhisperEyeNews

In his own words, Kagabo said he is in parliament to represent the people of Bukoto South, not Kyagulanyi or the National Unity Platform.

He added that not whatever resolution passed by his party makes sense to him because he has his own head and hence can tell what is wrong or right for his people.

“Am not a goat that is just taken for grazing. I have my own head. Am here to represent the people who voted me to this position, not NUP or Bobi wine.” He said
