NRM Primaries: Husband and wife Mbabaali lose on party primaries. Whisper Eye Reports

Tycoon haji Muyanja Mbabaali and his Wife Najjemba Mariam Mbabaali lost National Resistance Movement (NRM) party primaries.

Haji Mbabaali was defeated by chairman of Nsangi haji Kiyimba Abdu who won the NRM flag for Bukoto South constituency MP in Lwengo district.

According. to the declaration form Haji Kiyimba scored 8,544 votes and haji Mbabaali got 5,547 votes.

In Gomba East haji Mbabaali’s wife Najjemba Mariam Mbabaali lost to incumbent MP Kalule Ssengo locally known as Jjajja Mwami.

Residents of Gomba East frankly told Mrs Mbabaali to concentrate on her marriage in Lwengo with haji Mbabaali.

The fact that Ms Najjemba was the area MP for Gomba constituency for 10 years before it was divided into two: West and East constituencies, she left after getting married to haji Muyanja Mbabaali.

Among other facts that led to her loss, this tops the list.
