Nasty: Kigulu South MP aspirant Stephen Waako dies in a motor accident. Whisper Eye Reports
Kigulu county South MP aspirant Stephen Waako has died in a motor accident at Kakira.
Mr Waako (deceased) was travelling in his car which collided with a lorry at Kakira as he was making the final arrangements for the National Resistance Movement (NRM) party primaries ongoing today Friday September 4, 2020.
According to privy sources from Iganga, Mr Waako was leading the race by a considerable difference, and residents of Kigulu constituency south are shocked by the news of his death in a car accident.
The deceased mobilised residents of Kigulu to demand change of parliamentary representation under the them “Representation of Purpose”.
Kigulu constituency south is in Iganga district in Busaga sub region.
Currently, hon Kuluya Andrew Kiiza Namitego is the area MP and he is also in the race to retain his seat in 2021.
