“Mayiga was a tea boy in the Lubiri.” Mirundi

Former Presidential press secretary Mr. Tamale Mirundi has for long been at loggerheads with the Katikiro of Buganda Charles Peter Mayiga.

Recently, Mirundi told journalists that he can never bow down to Mayiga because he only recalls him as a tea boy in the Lubiri whom the Kabaka could order to serve tea to his visitors

Mirundi says he recalls so many times when he was having discussions with the King and its Mayiga who could serve them tea. Mirundi says for this reason even if many see Mayiga as a very important person, to him he is just nothing.

Mirundi has on many occasions accused Mayiga of being behind the decision to blacklist him from appearing on CBS FM over their personal misunderstandings.
