Residents of Busujju in Mityana were horrified by the flare-up of unexpected fire that left them wondering and Intra praying. #WhisperEyeNews #UgandaNews

The fire outbreak happened yesterday 23rd August around 7:35 am as Life Academy primary school was destroyed by a huge fire.

The school is located in Kimuli parish in Maanyi sub-county.

The school dormitory got burnt with some other school’s administration premises and the cause of the fire outbreak is unknown by press time.

Speaking to some of the residents, they expect the outbreak of fire to have been caused by malevolent people who do not wish the school owner anything good and they described these people as hitchers of education in the area.

Mugisha Patrick Nshimye, Chairman LC 5 of Mityana District has gone combative on the issue and asked the residents to be the first security if they are to avoid incidences of the kind.

University students from Busujju County through their secretary Nakitto Justice under their umbrella dubbed Busujju Students Forum have forwarded their melancholy message to the administration of the school and promised to provide support.

Police has embarked on investigations to determine the real cause of the fire.

The school is a born-again-based school that was founded by Bishop Katongole.
