Afro beat Music Champion of East and Central Africa Mr Mayanja Joseph popularly known by his stage name Dr Jose Chameleon has requested president Museveni to open businesses amidst Covid-19 pandemic.

Dr Jose Chameleon argues that the world is moving on at a high speed and Uganda is locked which is a blockage to development.

“A country of peace and freedom has become a den of promises and hope. We have waited and waited so long!! We have abided but now that we know other societies are moving forth as they have always done we are keeping backward,” says Dr Jose Chameleon.

“Let’s pick onto the world tempo as COVID-19 is a worldwide pandemic, he added.”

Most successful singer Dr Jose Chameleon claims that businesses like shops, boda bodas must open to allow Ugandans earn while observing recommendations of World Health Organisations (WHO) in fighting Covid-19.

‘Let Uganda go world tempo than keeping us home as the world moves forth,’ Dr Jose Chameleon states.

“Other countries are opening, Let people have food on the table as you promised some of us were left out!! Open up and let’s do it ourselves,” said Mr Mayanja.

Mr Mayanja declared recently to contest for Kampala Lord Mayoral post.

According to the political trend, Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu may back Mr Mayanja’s Kampala Lord Mayoral bid in 2021.
