Live Bullets in Luweero as Bobi Wine riots enter second day . Whisper Eye Reports

UPDF and Police has heavily fired live bullets in Luweero town as riots continue following the arrest of Kyadondo East MP hon Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu.

The patrols moving security men have also forced people to return go their homes until further notice.

Residents were protesting the arrest of Bobi Wine the presidential candidate of National Unity Platform who was arrested in Luuka District yesterday.

Riots first ensured on Wednesday in different parts of Uganda calling for the immediate release of Bobi Wine.

Supporters burnt tires and mounted roadblocks to deny access to traffic in large numbers.

IGP Okoth Ochola in a statement said police had intensified operations in making sure that Electoral Commission guidelines for the campaigns are followed by presidential candidates.
