Just In: High Court issues order directing police & military to vacate Bobi Wine’s home. Whisper Eye Reports

The High Court in Kampala has issued an order directing police and the military to vacate Hon Kyagulanyi Robert Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine premises.

The National Unity Platform(NUP) Presidential candidate Bobi Wine has been under styled house arrest for now close to 10 days at his home in Magere.

According to police this is not a house arrest but a preventive arrest after getting reports that Bobi Wine was planning to stage protests over presidential results.

Court adds that the indefinite confinement of Kyagulanyi at his home is unlawful and unconstitutional.
