HOLLYWOOD STAR TYRESE GIBSON HEADLINES UGANDA’S COFFEE CONCERT IN NTUNGAMO

American R&B icon and Fast & Furious star Tyrese Gibson has officially lined up his highly anticipated return to the Pearl of Africa, where he is set to headline the grand Coffee Concert in Ntungamo District.

The high-profile event, scheduled for October 3, 2026, serves as the official climax to the annual Africa Coffee Marathon and Africa Coffee Festival.

Taking place at the expansive Africa Coffee Park, the festival blends international entertainment with local agricultural advocacy.

Bridging Hollywood and Local Agriculture

Tyrese, globally celebrated for his portrayal of Roman Pearce in the blockbuster Fast & Furious franchise and hit soulful R&B tracks like “Sweet Lady” and “How You Gonna Act Like That,” has thrown his full weight behind Uganda’s coffee sector.

Beyond his headline performance, the Hollywood star has voiced strong support for initiatives aimed at empowering rural coffee farmers, particularly women who form the backbone of Uganda’s coffee production.

“I am standing in support of empowering the rural women in Uganda’s coffee communities—these are the women who make it possible for us to enjoy a great cup of coffee,” Tyrese shared regarding his involvement with the initiative.
