Forum for Democratic Change party has today appointed Kampala Lord Mayor Ssalongo Erias Lukwago new Interim FDC president.
In his address, FDC Party spokesperson Hon Ssemujju Nganda announced the suspension of President Eng Patrick Amuriat Oboi and Secretary-General Hon Nandala Mafabi.
Their suspension comes after the Katonga Road-based National Executive Council resolved today over new changes
The suspended officials include FDC President Eng Patrick Amuriat Oboi, Secretary-General Nandala Mafabi and Treasurer Hon Ekanya.
The Resolution saw Kampala Lord Mayor, Erias Lukwago, appointed the interim party president of FDC for six months pending investigations of the suspended leaders.
By press time Hon Mafabi and Eng Amuriat were unreachable for comments on their suspension.
