Express FC fan Hakeem Ssemanda banned for misbehaving

Hakeem Ssemanda Mugiraneza popularly known as Kawonawo by Express football club fans has been suspended from home matches in the remaining fixtures.

The Club’s fans committee chairman Wamala Edward has confirmed this in a writen letter released today afternoon.

According to the document released, Mr Ssemanda has been prohibited from accessing home matches starting from today.

Embattled Express fan is charged with four counts;

Misbehaving on the way to and from Express tour to Jinja to play Busoga United FC.

Throwing objects onto the pitch as Express FC was eliminated from Uganda Cup by Maroons FC.

Also among the counts are, causing an accident on the way after Uganda Cup game of Express FC with Maroons FC.

And also using abusive and vulgar words in the public during Express games.

Football fans have welcome the decision to suspend Mr Ssemanda for misbehaving as a way to revive Uganda’s lost glory of the game.
