Breaking! Lightning strikes over 60 people in Nebbi

In a harrowing twist of event, this publication has just learnt that more than 60 primary school pupils across Dhew sub-county Nebbi district have been struck by lightning today afternoon

The pupils have converged for inter-school football competition at the sub-county level.

Wilson Odwokacen, the Head teacher of Owilu Primary school confirms the incident saying 76 pupils have been rushed to Oweku Health center II.

He added that more than five pupils including a female teacher of Uwilu Primary School identified as Rose Ayio have been critically injured and rushed to Nebbi general hospital.

No death has been recorded yet
