Dr Drileba Bishop, the Assistant District Health Officer of Arua district has been reportedly murdered in Ajia Sub-County, Arua district on November 23, 2024.
The West Nile regional Police Spokesperson Collins Asea, briefly confirmed the harrowing incident this evening, attributing it to land related issues.
“So sad news we have this evening is that ADHO Dr Drileba Bishop was murdered over land related issues, currently our team are on the ground at Ajia where the murder took place, I will keep your updated at later stage” Asea said in a brief statement.
There is thinly-sliced information about the distressing incident.
The body of the deceased has been retrieved from the bushy contested crime scene, and is currently at Arua regional referral hospital for autopsy as Police launch inquiry into the case.
