Big Story: We were paid to pin Eric Sakwa of murder, family apologises to RDC

The Embattled family in Jinja which accused Jinja Resident District Commissioner Mr Eric Sakwa of manslaughter , robbery and other chargers has apologised. Whisper Eye Reports.

The family members earlier today in a press have apologised to Mr Eric Sakwa. Whisper Eye has learnt.

The family has instead accused Jinja West Member of Parliament Hon Moses Balyeku to have dished out about UGX Shs50 million to family members to launch a smear campaign towards Mr Sakwa.

The spotlight family went a head to accuse Hon Balyeku Moses that he worked with the area LC3 Chairperson Hamisi Mafubira Kiganira to accuse Sakwa of the death of their father.

A family meeting was held at Ivunamba parish in Budondo sub-county in Jinja district, attended by orphans, widows and the deceased’s brother.

RDC Sakwa was arrested in Jinja town ,charged and remanded as Prosecution alleged that between March 22 and April 17, Sakwa, along with Bumali Bazimbyewa, 19, a mechanic and Simba Mohammed, 31, a businessman, unlawfully caused the death of Charles Isanga, a resident of Lwanda Village in Jinja.

In an earlier interview Sakwa insisted that Isanga had been diagnosed with high blood pressure, a condition that had compromised his health for a long period of time.

Patrick Tidomu, Isanga’s brother, says the aforementioned politicians wanted to “disorganise the family”.

Whisper Eye reached to Moses Balyeku and by the time of this story he was yet to reply .

The family of the deceased have now publicly apologised to RDC Eric Sakwa and the office of the president .
