“Am in total control as FDC interim President” , says Erias Lukwago

Today the 25th of September, the Katonga FDC faction has held a press conference at Katonga in Kampala where they outlined to the public their plan to kick out Nandala Mafabi and Amuriat out of the FDC offices in Najjanankumbi once and for good.

The FDC Katonga faction president, Erias Lukwago, says the National Executive Committee will sit this week to discuss the new roadmap for the election of new party leaders.

He also says that they have notified banks where the party holds various accounts not to accept signatures of Nandala Mafabi and the treasurer general whom he says were ”chased” and thus not acting on behalf of the party any more.

Lukwago also used the opportunity to remind the public that he is the new FDC president and in total control of all the affairs of the party now.

He has also urged the media not to be hoodwinked by the statements coming from Najjanankumbi him calling him an impostor adding that POA and Nandala are a disgrace to the party who donot even deserve to say anything.

He further added that POA and Nandala are following exactly the same script as Nobert Mao did with the Democratic Party as he sold the party to Gen Museveni.

The tensions in FDC keep getting more intense each day as the Najjanankumbi and Katonga factions look so far from ever having around table talk to sort out the mess in the party.
