5 people who were on a motorcycle are confirmed dead following a fatal accident that happened yesterday, 19th/07 /2022 at around 7:10pm at Buyaga trading center in Bulambuli District!
The accident involved motor vehicle registration No. UAR 753K (FOTON Mixer) and UFL 438E, a Bajaj boxer!
The deceased were identified as Rogers Namawungo (30), Mutonyi Zita (47); Wasemwa WASEMWA Rose (34); and two others who are yet to be identified; a male juvenile and male adult. Their bodies were all conveyed to Muyembe Health Centre mortuary for postmortem examination.
According to ASP Faridah Nampiima PRO, Traffic And Road Safety Directorate, the hunt for the driver of the vehicle is on and efforts to have him arrested are underway but the cause of the accident is not yet established!
